Project Summary
The general aim of the project called Research Universities (Res-Uni) is to develop the knowledge and skills of academics and students of University College for Business Studies, University of Bijeljina, Barleti University, Albanian University, Adriatic University Bar, University of Donja Gorica Podgorica, and University of Mitrovica, located in the Western Balkans Region, on digital transformation, big data and data management systems, and to reflect the experience of research universities with the mentorship of Fırat University and Akademia Nauk Stosowanych WSGE im. A. De Gasperi w Józefowie University. The project also aims to ensure reaching EU standards in social, social and economic dimensions, to develop the R&D potential of the partners and ultimately to contribute to become Research Universities at EU standards. The Res-Uni project represents a significant initiative aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of academic institutions in the Western Balkans Region. Focused on digital transformation, big data, and data management systems, the project strives to align these universities with EU standards in social, social, and economic dimensions. The inclusion of two universities from each Western Balkan country in the Res Uni project strategically fortifies the initiative, fostering a collaborative and regionally comprehensive approach. This intentional selection ensures a diverse representation of perspectives, experiences, and academic contexts from Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, and Montenegro. By bringing together multiple institutions from each country, the project facilitates a robust exchange of knowledge and expertise within national boundaries.Through a focus on digital transformation, big data, and data management systems, Res-Uni contributes significantly to the capacity building of universities in Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, and Montenegro.
